Frequently Asked Questions

What's the shelf life of your products?

There is not a definitive answer to this. Each tea varies depending on the ingredients. If a tea ingredient contains oils such as peppermint, the shelf life may be lessened. You may find expiration dates on teas from 1 to 3 years for various companies. Shelf life may not be the same as best by. As with any food product, freshness, taste, and herbal quality decrease with time. Store your herbal products in a closed container and in a cool dry area away from light.

How often can I drink a single herbal tea?

Teas are not as strong as some other herbal products, but should not be misused. More is not better. Teas can be enjoyed (in amounts stated on package directions) more than once a day as long as they are well tolerated. If you are taking medication, talk with your healthcare provider since some herbs can affect absorption or the effectiveness of some medications.

Can you suggest an herbal product for my symptoms?

We can't give any information or answers to health related questions. Talk with your healthcare provider before using herbal products. We also can't make health claims on our products. The only claims we can make are a few ones called by the FDA "Structure/Function" claims - like the ones on our UnWind and Flex Tisanes.

Do you offer Organic Tea?

Yes. Some of our teas are USDA Certified Organic. We appreciate the importance of knowing that a product is free of synthetic pesticides and harmful chemicals. We package our organic products according to the strict guidelines required by the National Organic Program and are certified by Quality Certification Services.
